If you are issued a Return Authorization number, it does not mean that American Classic has accepted your warranty. The product will need to be sent to American Classic and inspected prior to making a decision whether it is covered by the warranty. American Classic’s sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace the product, at American Classic’s option. This warranty only applies to the original owner and to product purchased through an American Classic authorized dealer.
American Classic does not return damaged rims or other damaged products sent to us for warranty evaluation and claims. Any postage, insurance or shipping costs incurred in sending your American Classic product for service are your responsibility.
Please insure your package for its replacement value in the event that your product is damaged during shipping. For wheels, American Classic strongly suggests you use a carton box designed especially for wheels with adequate protective padding to reduce the risk of damage while shipping.
All personal items, including but not limited to cassettes, tires, tubes, rim tape, computer magnet, quick release skewers, must be removed from your wheel(s) before sending them in for service. American Classic is not responsible for any personal items sent in with a warranty product.
Once a Return Authorization number has been issued for the product return, you have a period of Ninety (90) days to return the goods for warranty evaluation. The warranty is void if American Classic does not receive the item within this Ninety (90) day period.
